A Watson Lake man is facing a cocaine trafficking charge following an investigation by the Yukon RCMP’s crime reduction unit. According a Sept. 18 press release, unit members were investigating a man Watson Lake’s name can be traced back to the settlement of an American man named Frank Watson, who left California in 1897 to seek gold in the Klondike. Upon leaving the Klondike, Watson ventured into Kaska territory in the Upper Liard area via northern rivers.
